Our Georgia lawsuit to date:
-We filed our Complaint on September 26, 2024 (ECF No. 1).
-On September 27, 2024, we filed an Emergency Ex Parte Motion to Expedite Proceedings (ECF No. 4).
-On October 2, 2024, an Order was entered denying the Emergency Ex Parte Motion to Expedite Proceedings (ECF No. 5).
-A motion to intervene was filed on October 2, 2024 by Georgia State Conference of the NAACP, Coalition for the People's Agenda, Inc., and League of Women Voters of Georgia (ECF No. 8). Our response is due on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
-A second motion to intervene was filed on October 2, 2024 by Common Cause Georgia and Galeo Latino Community Development Fund, Inc. (ECF No. 10). Our response is due on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
-A third motion to intervene was filed on October 10, 2024 by Black Voters Matter Fund (ECF No. 12). Our response is due on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
-On October 11, 2024, Common Cause Georgia and Galeo Latino Community Development Fund, Inc. filed an Expedited Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings and an Expedited Motion for Preliminary Junction or, in the Alternative, Summary Judgment (ECF No. 19). Our response is due on Friday, October 25, 2024.
